We are not in the wedding business but we do believe that every couple that desires a Christian wedding should have such an opportunity.

We really do love to have weddings in our sanctuary.  We like to “showoff” our beautiful sanctuary to folks who may never have the opportunity to visit us otherwise.  We like working with those couples planning that perfect ceremony and we do our best to make everything happen the way the couple are dreaming.  We also count it a privilege to be the representative of God’s presence and blessing at this incredibly important time in a couple’s life.

Here is what we offer those coming to be married a First Christian Church:

•             Full use of the sanctuary
•             Rehearsal the day before
•             Dressing rooms
•             Fully ordained minister to officiate with many years of wedding experience
•             A minimum of two counseling sessions (these are fun, not intimidating)
•             Organist/Keyboardist
•             Trained Wedding Director
•             Candelabras and candles
•             Unity Candelabra
•             Set-up and Clean-up

            Fellowship hall available for receptions or rehearsal dinners (for 75 guests or less)

                        *There is an extra charge for use of the fellowship hall.

Come by and see for yourself all that we offer.  Office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 am until noon.  If you can’t come during office hours we will be happy to meet you when you are available.  Call to make an appointment, (540) 342-5144 or email.  Even better, come on a Sunday for worship at 10:30 am where you will get to experience First Christian.  If you visit us on a Sunday be sure to identify yourself as interested in having a wedding and we will give you the full tour.
